With the huge success of Girl Skateboards in 1993, founders Rick Howard and Mike Carroll embarked on their second business venture, Chocolate Skateboards, the following year. With the likes of Keenan Milton, Richard Mulder and Gabriel Rodriguez on board from the get go, Chocolate was bound for success. Evan Hecox was (and still is) an integral part of the brands success, as his unique artistic approach drew attention from skateboarders all around the globe and helped drive the company's triumph.
In 1999, Chocolate released a full length film entitled “The Chocolate Tour” which displayed some of the most progressive skateboarding of the decade as they introduced Stevie Williams with a banging full part that still holds up to today's standards. With well over 20 years in the game, Chocolate continues to be one of the most respected brands in the industry and they remain dedicated to produce clean, quality products that stand the test of time.
